STEP2: Set a Realistic Goal
To do that you need to evaluate the time you are willing to put aside for your Affiliate Business. When starting it is recommended to set a modest goal like 300$ (US) a month in affiliate commissions and AdSense revenue (see the Free Tutorial link in STEP 6).
You must start with a small goal that can be reachable and when you start getting the 300$ (US) in your bank account…you can move on to a bigger goal.
My advice…you must have a vision of what this 300$ (US) will help you do each month (eg., Credit Card bill paiement). And Keep always your goal in mind when working on your Affiliate Business! it will Motivate you.

STEP5: Choose the right Affiliate Merchants
There are too many products and merchants to promote!!…how do you know which one is the best for you?

STEP 8: Be prepared for your success
Once your site is spidered by the search engines like Google, Yahoo!, MSN, you’ll start getting traffic!
People will find your website, will browse it and they will like your great content. They will click on AdSense and/or follow your recommendations and they will buy from your merchant partner…then you’ll get your commission.
Good Job!…after little expense, lot of hard work and research, you finally hit your goal…300$ a month, with the help of your affiliate sales commissions and from AdSense program on your site. And depending on the topic you choose for your website, you might earn more than 300$!
Side Note: if you do not see any payoff…it’s probably because you just scanned the information provided here without reading, understanding and following the Right Process and using the Right Tools.

STEP 9: Start Testing
You’re finally in Business…Now, do some changes in your website to grow your conversion rate. Like changing the heading on a page, the colors, adding more keywords, try other placement of your AdSense Ads in your pages etc.
Wait at least for 1000 visitors to see the changes then check your earnings to see if it increase or decrease.
My advice…keep what works and drop what doesn’t work!
STEP 10: Grow your Site
Now that your site is rolling you can add a newsletter, e-zine, forum, Inbound Link, RSS etc. It will help you stay in contact with your visitors, get more traffic and enrich the content of your website.
