Adsense Alternative
I am getting ready to start a Blog and I am wanting to know if there is anything better then Adsense?
I know of things like DoubleClick, Yieldmanager, Ect.
But Tracking cookies, Are these service really that bad?
I am looking preferably for something Text-Based.

“Better” is subjective, and you don’t indicate what things you care about.
In terms of reliability and profitability, you’re not going to do better than Adsense.
Yahoo! Search Marketing also has content-based text advertising that looks and works like Adsense, You can see it on the right-hand side of most questions here.

Nope. people are towards video advertising right now. Audio is no longer an interest.

I need to display ads on my website. However, it is a non-traditional website and the ads displayed for adsense recognize incorrect keywords. I need to find alternatives to google adsense that allows me to specify keywords manually and then displays ads based on that.

Have you ever checked out Clickbank.com? It is free and easy to start. Another one that is approved by the BBB is http://ilovesbi.sitesell.com/websuccess123.html. I’ve heard Squidoo works but I have not tried it yet.

Adsense has always been the best for me as far as profits are concerned.
