Does anyone here work from home? I am unemployed at the moment and receiving employment insurance benefits. I have been looking for a job in my field of work (office, receptionist) in the area that I live but I can’t seem to find any work. I am afraid that my EI Benefits will run out soon, and I will not have found a job. I am looking at working from home but I want to get into a legitimate at home career – NOT something that scams people, NOT something that I can’t make money at, and NOT something that I have to spend money to get into – ‘A Legitimate’ AT HOME CAREER. I was curious if anyone out there is doing this and if they could give me some pointers or help me get started. I would appreciate the feedback.

I’m a freelance writer and I create content for a couple of area online:
1. I set up my own blogs and websites on subjects I am interested in and then sometimes use ad revenue through Google Adsense to make money with the content
2. Create content for others via bidding at freelancers’ site like Elance or create commissioned content for a site like Demand Studios

I make the most money through my own website but the other options all add up too. I like the idea of the residual income generated from the articles in option 3 as once you have written the pieces they just keep (gradually, and very slowly) making money for you without you doing any more work.
No real get rich quick schemes though I’m afraid. Although I believe if you have a great idea for an eBook and it takes off you can make a considerable income – I haven’t tried that yet!

The only real way is through advertising.
I suggest you learn how to create a website, create a website then use Google Adsense to advertise. People with even small websites can earn lots of money this way plus it’s very little work.
And you get all the control.

if you upload movies and share them with friends or whatever, for every $ 1000 downloads u get you make $ 25… and trust me its EASY DONE… i get 1000 downloads every half hour, u just gotta know where to leave copies of your download link so people download them…… start off searching google for warez forums… for example, www.warez-bb.org… good luck!

Matt is right – affiliate marketing and advertising is the way to go for continual income that grows over time once you put in the initial effort.
Building your own website can take lots of learning – including stuff like keywords, SEO, coding, etc.
I’d recommend writing for article sites first. Some will only pay you for certain amounts of views but I write for hubpages which allows you to display your own adverts for 60% of the time. This means that anyone that clicks through will earn you 100% of that click.
They do all the hard stuff like help you rank, code everything and let you work with easy to understand boxes. All you have to do is write! Your income will increase over time, as will the number of visitors you get, even if you stop writing for awhile.

A great way to make money online is through SEO. The thing youll like about search engine optimization is that you can get started for as little as $ 9 and then start making money. You wont be a millionaire overnight and you will need to learn a lot but it is a legitimate way to make money online.

If your goal is to make money blogging, there’s a couple of things you need to know. 1st off: most successful bloggers (or those, I should say, that have successfully monetized) spend their first few months (in some cases years) building up an email list through a service like aweber (if you’re not familiar with it, get familiar with it-quick!) This list is the bread and butter of a successful blogger. There are some other methods of monetization out there like google adwords and selling banners, but the tried and true formula is to create your own products (i.e. ebooks, reports, etc) or sell the work of others through affiliate programs to your email list. The key is to have a very well defined niche and nurture a relationship with your readers where you provide them with valuable free info on a regular basis. At 12, most ways of making money are closed to you. The only possibility I can think of is if you are handy with crafts, you can make something and sell it on line at Etsy.Com/ Check out etsy.com to see if it is something you could work with. You own your own business and it is free to list. But you have to create a product you can sell They take a commission on the sales but you list free.
My granddaughter makes beautiful little pins and sells a lot of them and makes $ $ $ . Your age doesn’t matter. You take orders, ship them when you get them and I believe Pay pal sends you your checks.
